Steeve Mercier (Ph.D)

CiFRAN Scientific Director

Teacher at Laval University and at the University of Quebec in Rimouski

Ph.D in linguistics and qualified to train teachers in accordance with the Neurolinguistic Approach, Steeve Mercier is specialized in Second Language acquisition, neurodidactics, phonetic correction, phonology and sociolinguistics. Since 2011, he has also worked as a lecturer in linguistics and French as a Second Language at Laval University, and since 2012 as a professor of francization of immigrants at the Quebec Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion.

Olivier Massé (Ing. Form.)

CiFRAN Head of Training Programs

FLS textbook author (CLÉ International Publishing), expert educational advisor for language schools in Canada and France.

After many years of teaching and engineering FSL/FSO programs as well as training teachers (French Institute, japanese universities, language schools), his discovery of the theoretical principles of the NLA in 2008 and his meeting with the founders of the NLA in 2012 convinced Olivier Massé that there is a real pedagogical turning point in the way of teaching of this Canadian approach when it comes to optimizing our teaching strategies. He’s organizing NLA trainings since 2015.
